THE DAWN OF ALL-OUT WAR
Experience the origins of modern warfare where the old world was destroyed, giving way to the new one. Use the innovative, modern weaponry and vehicles of World War I as you battle across the land, air and sea.

NO BATTLE IS EVER THE SAME
Dynamic weather and intuitive destruction create an ever-changing landscape. Make your mark on the world, whether you're blasting craters in the ground with artillery strikes or ripping apart walls with gunfire.

MASSIVE BEHEMOTHS
Pilot some of the largest vehicles in Battlefield history. Rain down fire from the sky in a gargantuan Airship, tear through the world in the Armored Train, or bombard the land from the sea in the Dreadnought.

Elite Classes
Flame Trooper is Wrapped in fire-resistant gear and carrying a powerful flamethrower, the Flame Trooper brings with him chaos. He's far from indestructible, though. Part of his kit has him permanently affixed with a gas mask, slowing him down and keeping his vision lowered. Attack from afar, and you might escape un-scorched.

Sentry, who is strapped with thick armor plating. The Sentry moves like a human tank, equipped with a water-cooled machine gun at his hip. He can shower enemy positions with lead while still being able to withstand a lot of damage, but unlike the Flame Trooper, he can't wear a gas mask at all.

Tank Hunter use of the 1918 Tankgewehr, an absolute beast of a weapon that can lay waste to enemy infantry and vehicles alike (so long as the Tank Hunter is prone). A well-placed shot from this weapon is capable of knocking out a vehicle's tracks, machine guns, or cannons on armored vehicles. They don't call it the Tankgewehr for nothing.

Horses
While they might not be as sturdy as tanks, they're still effective in close-quarters combat. Their speed and agility means they can trample enemies under their powerful hooves, and they'll get you close enough to slash them down with a saber. If you prefer to stay back a bit, you’ll have access to powerful rifles for medium range combat that can be fired from horseback. The Cavalry class will spawn onto a horse from the Loadout screen. Horses are even effective in anti-vehicle assaults using grenades – you can run circles around the slower mechanized vehicles and harass them with explosives. Horses also have a secondary use as a mobile supply station of sorts, so in addition to these offensive capabilities, players can drop ammo and bandages from the saddlebags to assist team members and help them stay in the fight.

Battlepacks
Battlepacks from the ground up with a focus on customization. You'll get Battlepacks for playing multiplayer matches, and when you crack one open, you'll find an awesome Weapon Skin, which come in three rarities: Special, Distinguished, and Legendary. Some packs may also include a piece of a craftable unique melee weapon. Special melee weapons need to be built, and you’ll find the puzzle pieces inside. Collect ‘em all, and you’ll have a new weapon at your disposal. Besides including a Weapon Skin and melee weapon piece, there's another surprise that could be inside. When you receive a Weapon Skin or an item you don’t want or need you can salvage it for Scraps, an in-game currency that can then be spent on new Battlepacks. Spending Scraps is the only way of getting hold of Enhanced Battlepacks (which guarantee a Distinguished weapon skin) and Superior Battlepacks (which guarantee a Legendary weapon skin). Battlepack content will shift regularly, with new Revisions changing up which Weapon Skins and items are currently available. Before you open up a Battlepack you will see a list of what skins the current Revision contains, letting you know if the skins you want is currently available in the pool of possible items.

Battlefied 1 is a 64 player first-person shooter that emphasizes teamwork. The game is set during World War 1 and inspired by historic events. Players can make the use of World War 1 weapons and control various armored vehicles. Melee combat was reworked with a variety of different types of melee weapons. Destructible environments and weapons customizations return and will be more dynamic.

The game features a class and squad system. There are no best class, since each class has certain advantage and disadvantage over each other. Being able to pick the right class at the right time can have a massive impact on the match. For example, picking an Assault will be more helpful when there are tanks and close range combat. While on wide open maps, picking a Scout to spot and engage at longer distances will be better. While being a medic to keep your teammates alive while capturing an objective can be useful as well. Joining a squad will allow you to spawn on them in matches and supporting your squad members will earn you extra points. Squad leaders can mark objectives such as attacking a flag or defending. Completing the marked objective will earn extra points to your score.

According to the game designer, World War 1 was picked as the setting since the developers believed the weapons from the era will allow different playstyle. In addition to having a variety of locations. The game was named Battlefield 1, since the developers consider World War 1 as "The Dawn of All-Out Warfare"

Battlefield 1 will launched with 9 maps with a free map releasing in December.
